The “Ber” months are officially here, and you know what that means—we have holidays on the brain! 🎃🎄 We’re absolutely not skipping over Halloween (because spooky season deserves its moment!), and we’re already busy creating those frightfully fun Halloween signs and personalized favorites. We are also spending time with friends seeing fall favorites and getting up to some witchery, Practical Magic style. But we have to admit... Christmas has started sneaking into the workshop too. And this year, we have a brand-new ornament drop that we have a feeling is going to be a must-have addition to the tree.
Meanwhile, outside of Wood Be Awesome Gifts, life has been a little... chaotic. We thought back-to-school season was hectic, but apparently we decided that wasn’t enough! New floors are being installed, and somewhere along the way we casually decided, “Hey, why don’t we paint the house too?” Because apparently fall doesn’t just call for pumpkins and cozy décor—it calls for a full-blown reset! There's so much going on that even our animals need a reset!
So September is bringing us new floors, fresh paint, spooky creations, Christmas magic, and probably a little sawdust mixed in somewhere.

September always feels like the month when everything shifts at once. The kids are back in school, routines are changing, the holidays are suddenly staring us in the face, and if you're anything like me, you might randomly decide this is also the perfect time to redo half your house. But maybe that's what fall is all about—a little reset. And that doesn't have to mean new floors or freshly painted walls! It can be clearing out a closet, changing a routine that isn't working anymore, saying “no” to something that's taking up too much of your time, or simply making a little more room for yourself.
As moms, we're constantly preparing for what's next—school, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas—but don't get so busy creating the magic that you forget to enjoy it too.
